Posted by: Virpi on Monday, June 04, 2007 - 07:17 PM
Home Birthing After nine months of pregnancy, little is more miserable than lingering past your due date. Your feet hurt, your back hurts, and you want to see your baby, not just feel your baby.

The good news is that inducing labor naturally is quite easy. You can take control and help to get your labor started. While there are numerous natural methods to kick start your contractions, none are as effective as acupressure to induce labor.

Note:

**Please consult your doctor or midwife before attempting. **

High Risk Pregnancy: Placental Cysts (High-Risk Pregnancy)
Posted by: Ghada M. Mansour on Thursday, January 19, 2006 - 07:26 PM
Pregnancy Tools

Abstract: Placental Cysts are a form of placental tumors resulting from a vascular malformation. They are a grayish white, disklike cyst of the placenta, resulting from degeneration of cells. Placental cysts, although almost always benign, but can cause some problems when they are close to the umbilical cord. When attached near the umbilical cord insertion, the risk of umbilical cord constriction is increased. This may cause fetal growth retardation and intrauterine asphyxia. Pregnancies with placental cysts will be closely monitored for fetal growth to make sure that baby is growing normally.
